Do you take my insurance?

  • Acacia Dermatology gladly accepts virtually every insurance plan doing business in Tennessee & Alabama. This includes Medicare, Medicare Advantage, TriCare, United HealthCare (UHC) Community Plan, Amerigroup, BlueCare, TennCare Select, and commercial plans including Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS), Cigna, UHC, Aetna, Humana, MultiPlan, UMR and many others.

  • We accept new patients! Please remember to bring your insurance card to your first visit.

 

 
 

 

Do I need a referral?

  • If you have an in-network PPO plan you can come to us directly without a referral. 

  • You will need to be referred by your primary care provider before your first visit if you have any of the following health plans as your primary insurance: Tricare, HealthSpring, BlueCare, Tenncare Select, Amerigroup, UHC Community Plan (aka AmeriChoice) & AARP MedicareComplete.
