Do you take my insurance?

  • Acacia Dermatology gladly accepts virtually every insurance plan doing business in Tennessee & Alabama. This includes:

    • Medicare & most Medicare Advantage products

    • TriCare

    • TennCare products: United HealthCare (UHC) Community Plan, Wellpoint (formerly Amerigroup), BlueCare & TennCare Select

    • Commercial products: Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS), Cigna, UHC, Aetna, Humana, MultiPlan, UMR and many others.

  • We accept new patients! Please remember to bring your insurance card to your appointments.

 

 
 

 

Do I need a referral?

  • If you have an in-network PPO plan you can come to us directly without a referral. 

  • You will need to be referred by your primary care provider before your first visit if you have any of the following health plans as your primary insurance: Tricare, BlueCare, Tenncare Select, Wellpoint TennCare (formerly Amerigroup) & UHC Community Plan (aka AmeriChoice).
